Note from Artistic Director Bonnie Curtis.

Our first international tour is over. I keep saying this but I can’t believe it happened.

I never would have thought when I sat down to create an unnamed work back in June 2017 that it would become something that we would before 5 seasons of around Australia and overseas. All I wanted was to create something that expressed the thoughts in my head and the life experiences of us women. A bonus would be if people liked it. Turns out people did enjoy it enough that we were able to keep sharing our work.

This would not have been possible without the hard work of my dancers. They have given their heart and soul to creating, rehearsing and performing GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS. I cannot thank them enough and there is no reward great enough for their ability to make my ideas come to life. I am so lucky to have a group of dedicated, hardworking and talented performers and friends in my life. They are my family and I love them dearly.

They say “behind every great man is a great woman” supporting them but in this case, I am the great wo-man and my great partner is behind me, supporting me. My life is made a lot easier by having someone who believes in what I do and is willing to support me live the dream of being a not so starving artist.

There are many people who have helped us get to our first international tour. You are our friends and family, people who have come to our shows, classes, workshops, bought our merchandise, told your friends about us, supported our crowdfunding and Patreon campaigns, follow and like us on social media and the rest of you that support the arts in whatever way you can.

Thank you.
Thank you for making this all possible.

I am still in shock of it all happening. We actually went overseas, performed to decent sized audiences, taught classes to eager students, performed in the home town of one of our dancers and had a great time.

We made all of this happen.

Because BCP rulz.

Now it’s time for me to go and scrub 7 dancers smelly socks.
