BCP Dancer in the Spotlight – Anna McCulla

Anna McCulla is a graduate of The Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) along with BCP founder Bonnie Curtis.

After she graduated, Anna began working with Bonnie Curtis Projects and where we started creating GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS, our first full-length show. We’ve also gone on tour in New Zealand and east coast Australia. She also dances with Twisted Element Dance Company and has performed in their 2019 seasons of Ritual.

Anna has trained with dance companies around Australia. Chunky Move was the first of these workshops and Anna then went on to complete a secondment with the Australian Dance Theatre, and Jo Lloyd at the Tasdance MAKE choreographic intensive.

Anna says that she found that each of these provided her not only great physical training but also made her question and as well as further develop her own choreographic and thought processes.

Read more about Anna in her recent interview with Dance Australia Magazine.

She is performing in MEA CULPA by CLOE FOURNIER (AUSTRALIA/FRANCE) at Riverside Theatres this October 18th and 19th 2019.
