Happy 1st Birthday!

One year ago today we started working on an unnamed project, which was the beginning of Bonnie Curtis Projects as a company. This unnamed project ended up with the name GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS. Little did we know that in 12 months time we would be celebrating not only our first birthday but our first tour in the same weekend. From beginning as a bunch of uni mates dancing together to being a touring company with dancers from all over the world in 12 months blows my mind. Our success so far is a testament to not only my own passion and determination but to the dancers’ as well. Their love for BCP and what we do really makes me lost for words. It means so much to me to have a group of people that love what we do as much as I do. We are 1 big BCP family and I am so proud of the work we have created together.

I am so excited to see what the next year has in store for us. I should probably make a plan this time instead of just winging it and pretending I know what I’m doing.
