Bonnie heads to Canberra
Our Artistic Director Bonnie Curtis is heading on a road trip to Canberra next weekend.
Bonnie will be teaching a series of workshops and performing in Canberra on Saturday, June 22.
WORKSHOP – FIERCE DIVA BALLET
Bonnie’s ‘Fierce Diva Ballet’ workshop incorporates ballet with songs from modern music divas such as Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Kelis, Tina Turner, among many others. This class celebrates physical empowerment through the art of ballet.
Experience ballet like you never thought possible.
This class will cover the foundations of ballet through barre (using chairs) and centre exercises. You will also learn a short dance that incorporates ballet technique with fun music. Open to All levels!

PERFORMANCE – GODDESS: A Celebration of the Divine Feminine in us All
A night of dance, song, performance, beauty, burlesque, variety, ballet, original music, comedy, drag, diversity, inclusion, art and visibility.
What is your concept of a Goddess? This show seeks to challenge the perception of what makes a Goddess through the medium of performance. A highly entertaining show that seeks to showcase the talents of humans everywhere who embody Goddess energy inclusive of any gender, orientation, cultural background and celebrating our diversity.
Following the success of their Halloween Show (A Flirty Thirsty Halloween Variety) last year, the Vaudevixen’s are back changing the world 1 show at a time. Hosted by the up and coming Commercial Dance Troupe, the show includes group performances, local Canberra art scene fixtures, special interstate guests and above all, a sense of Diversity and Inclusion.
