Ina is a professional dancer and choreographer who discovered her passion for dance and movement at the age of 6. During her years of training she took weekly classes in jazz, contemporary, ballet and tap at her local dance school. Ina attended a performing arts high school to major in dance, where she soon fell in love with contemporary. This led her to start on her next journey. In 2011 Ina was accepted in to a program to attain her BA in Contemporary Dance.
During her university years, Ina studied under local and international teachers and choreographers. As a result of working with these industry professionals, she gained a high level of experience and skills in a wide range of technique, movement and styles within the artistic and commercial dance world. In her graduate year, Ina went to study a semester abroad at The College at Brockport, State University of New York.
In 2015 Ina graduated with excellent marks on paper and feedback from professors. Upon graduation, Ina was granted the 2015 Talent Scholarship from the Inge Steensland Foundation, presented by her university to the most promising student each year. The following year Ina was granted a scholarship for professional training in New York presented by the Norwegian Arts Council.
Ina moved to Sydney in 2015 to pursue her career in dance. She has danced professionally in Norway, USA and Australia and is always looking for new, exciting projects to be a part of, big and small. She has a big passion for performing, loves challenges that make her grow within the industry and is always eager to learn from other industry professionals.
Ina first joined Bonnie Curtis Projects to perform in ‘Tripelpunkt’ in 2018.
