Romain is a dance and movement artist with origins in parkour/art du deplacement, capoeira and breaking. As a performer, Romain has worked in the performance realms of dance, circus and parkour. He has worked with Big hArt in the development and stage performance of ‘Skate Project’ and with Canon and Jeep involving parkour for TV commercials. He is currently involved with the circus dance company Blindful in Melbourne and has been touring with them since 2017. Romain was a member of youth dance company Yellowwheel, United Art of Movement Ballarat, Hybrid Elements Collective Tasmania and Melbourne Parkour as an instructor and practitioner.
In 2018 Romain choreographed ‘Crepitus’. Romain also developed solo pieces through the Artists in Residence program with Van L Dance Company in Melbourne and Sydney and performance works for the Moonah Moves Festival in Tasmania. Romain recently relocated to Sydney to be a part of the Leg Up programme at Legs on the Wall.
Romain first joined Bonnie Curtis Projects to perform in ‘Wonderland’ in 2019.
