This August, we have some exciting news just for you.

This inaugural annual program provides the platform for emerging and mid-career artists to develop works on AUSTI Dance & Physical Theatre company members, under the guidance of Artistic Director, Michelle Maxwell.
Bonnie’s work will explore the choreographic language and movement vocabulary she developed during her ATLAS residency at ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival last year.
‘Beauty and The Grotesque Beast’ is a dark, satirical dance-theatre work drawing on the juxtaposition of the “body beautiful” and “body grotesque”, in relation to western dance practices and pop culture.

We’re so excited to announce that Bonnie is joining DirtyFeet’s Emerging Makers program again in 2023.
Emerging Makers is a 3-day intensive workshop this August that provides career development and pathways for emerging artists with disability.
Bonnie is joining a group of incredible dance makers including Camille Collins, Chloe Morrison-Greet, Oliver House, Jeremy Lowrencev, Bedelia Lowrencev, Matthew Massaria, Azzam Mohamed, Zoe Ong, Katrina Sneath, Jonathan Yung and Milla Wolman.
These fantastic artists will learn from one of the industry’s best, Sarah-Vyne Vassallo, who is the lead artist for the 2023 series.
Additionally, the artists will also learn from and engage with eminent disabled artist Dan Daw via a virtual mentoring session in the lead up to the series.
Come join us 16 August, 4pm at PACT Centre For Emerging Artists to witness how this program is equipping Emerging Artist’s to continue to grow in confidence and skill, as they make and create together!
