Updates and Announcements for July 2023
Happy July!
We’re already halfway through 2023 and it’s been a blast so far!
Keep reading to see what we have in store this month.
Girls Gone Wild is a darkly satirical dissecting sources of women’s anger through a post #MeToo lens.
Last month we hit the freshly renovated IPAC theatre to continue making our new work Girls Gone Wild with the help of Dramaturg Anne-Louise Rentell.
During the residency, we focused on developing the characters of our angry Millennial and GenZ women and exploring key theatrical elements that bring the ‘Just Let It Go Anger Management Retreat For Angry Women’ to life.
Instead of ridding themselves of their anger for good and embracing their best lives, these angry women are taken on a self-help wellness journey of anger suppression to become their best palatable selves.
This project is supported by the MerrigongX, NSW Government through Create NSW and the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.
We can’t wait to bring this work to you, watch this space…
